Where to stay?

Chiddingstone is a small village with one two-room BnB. There are a number of others in the local area however there is little to no public transport. The largest local towns are Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells (these are on a direct train line from London). There are plenty of AirBnBs and hotels in these towns. From here, you would need to drive or prebook a taxi to and from Chiddingstone.

Wedding Day Timeline

You will begin the day at Chiddingstone Church and then move to The Castle Inn pub for the reception. Carriages at 12:15am.

Dress Code

It will be a lovely summer’s day, so wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. Please note that the whole of the evening will be outside so be prepared if it gets chilly!

Their Story

The Bride & Groom

Aletza and Dan met at a time when love wasn’t exactly part of the plan. From their very first date, Aletza felt an instant connection, the kind that’s rare and a little unexpected. Still, she tried to keep her distance. She told Dan she wasn’t looking for a relationship, that she was focusing on herself, and besides… he would be heading back to the UK in just a couple of months. Deep down, it may have been her way of protecting her heart.

But Dan didn’t give up.

At the heart of it all, Aletza and Dan are focused on building a life filled with memories, laughter, and a love that keeps growing stronger. They both deeply value family and friends, feeling proud of where they come from and hoping to create something just as meaningful together.

They share a love for staying active, for movement, for new experiences, never quite the type to sit still for too long. In their own way, they’re always ready for the next adventure.

And wherever life takes them next, they’ll be exploring it together.

Even as Aletza returned to her hometown, Veracruz a beautiful beachside city in Mexico, he kept showing up. What could have been the end of their story became just the beginning. Dan started traveling to see her, and from there, their journey together never really stopped.

Since then, they’ve explored the world side by side traveling across Mexico, Guatemala, USA, Spain, England, and Scotland. And they’re just getting started. With Thailand, Africa, and New Zealand on their minds, they’re excited to keep discovering new places, chasing adventures, and figuring out where “home” might be.
